Autopot – 4-Pot System:

A complete 4 Pot Autopot system. Quite possibly the simplest, and most economical system that automatically waters your plants. Whether you’re just starting in Hydroponics or creating a new system, Autopots are a great way to grow plants fast and economically.

The Autopot 4-Pot System Contains:

How the Autopot – 4-Pot System Works:

In this system, plants grow in 4 x 15 Litre square pots. Nutrient solution is gravity fed from a 47 litre tank via 6mm Flexi-pipe. The Flexi-pipe connects to each of the four Aquavalves, which sit inside each Autopot tray (see the diagram below).

The Aquavalve controls the watering system, automatically filling the bottom of the tray to a shallow depth of 20mm, and then switching off the flow from the Header Tank. The nutrient solution in the Autopot Tray then waters the pot from the bottom as the substrate in the pot wicks the solution up.

The Smart Valve remains completely shut until all of the nutrient solution in the bottom of the Autopot has been used up. When the bottom of the tray is dry the Smart Valve opens and again allows the Tray to be filled with 20mm of nutrient solution from the Header Tank. The Smart Valve operates as and when necessary, increasing the frequency of the watering as the plants grows larger and thirstier.

A root control disc at the bottom of the 15 Litre pots prevents soil or substrate from falling out of the bottoms while a copper disc in the bottom of the Autopot Tray prevents roots from growing into the Aquavalve outlet.

Using the Autopot 4-Pot System:

The system can be put together in different ways depending on your circumstances. Set up is actually very simple; all you need to do is run 6mm pipe from the 47 litre reservoir to your Aquavalves. The Aquavalves sit inside each tray, filling them up to a level of 20mm as and when needed.

The AirDome is the perfect accessory to gardeners of all abilities. It has been designed to increase the amount of air around the root zone in plant pots.

This little addition can increase yields by up to 130%. It is very simple to use once assembled, which will take less than 30 seconds. The AirDome is placed at the bottom of the pot, covered with media and then connected to an air pump. Oxygen is then supplied directly to the plants’ root zone, improving crop development and ensuring maximum growth.

Compatible with 3/16 in ID – 1/4 in OD Clear Vinyl Tubing.

The AQUAvalve is a simple but very effective watering device but needs to be treated with care. Keep the AQUAvalve and the tray it sits in clean, free of obstructions, soil particles and it will help you water & feed your plants for many years. The AQUAvalve is guaranteed for 12 months.

The AQUAvalve is supplied with all the AutoPot systems. Once connected to the water supply the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, by simple gravity pressure from a tank or water barrel, no pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers are required. Once connected to the tank the AQUAvalve will open and allow water to fill the tray, to a pre-set level of 20mm. When the level is reached the AQUAvalve will shut off and prevent any further water from entering the tray until all the water has been consumed by the plants.

Geopot is a breathable fabric plant container that air prunes your roots when they reach the edge of the container. This air root pruning process forces your roots to branch out with more fibrous feeder roots, which are more efficient in taking up water and nutrients. The porous fabric allows air into the root zone and provides great drainage, creating a healthy environment for the roots. With the combination of air root pruning creating a better root structure and the aeration of the root zone, your plants can reach their full potential!
