It features a dimmable switch with the ability to adjust watt output for 3 different settings and comes with both 120v and 240v power cords.

The Original OG

As the smallest, lightest, and smartest ballast on the market the, OG lives up to its name. It’s the original “Nano style” ballast, yet it continues to dominate through innovation. We’ve taken the reliability and quality you’ve come to trust, and added smart ballast capabilities by making it NCCS (NCCS hyperlink?) compatible. Not only does this allow you to actively monitor the health of your ballast, it allows you to control many operations including overheat shut-off, voltage surge protection, dim cycles, slow start/slow finish, and more! Like all of our ballasts the DE comes with Random Start technology. Random Start uses an algorithm that will start the ballast within a 0-15 second window. This allows for less initial power draw when using multiple ballasts. The OG ballast is covered by a 3 year warranty (warranty hyperlink?).  ETL listed meeting product safety standards.

With huge indoor vertical grow farms opening everywhere, vertical is back at the forefront of growers thoughts and re-engineering old school ideas is the new frontier. ILUMINAR’s Vertical DE fixture is the newest ‘Old School’ tech idea there is, enabling growers to re-think the shape of their gardens with this DCP (Deep Canopy Penetration) capability. Taller plants with more branched canopies have very different lighting needs to shorter broader canopy plants; if light doesn’t break the initial canopy layers at the top – you stand to lose yields in your branched canopies below – this is where vertical ‘inter-canopy’ lighting steps in. 

We began with an old design we had prototyped in our basements but then added a twist. Literally.
